[Revised] Regarding Deedar Sharaf

As per the information sent earlier today regarding Deedar Sharaf in Raudat Tahera, there has been an amendment.

Only the students from al-Ebtedaee to al-Khamesah will have to come to Raudat Tahera today for deedar sharaf.

Program for grade al-Sadesah to al-Taseah has been postponed for now.

Students should

– Reach Tokra Gali gate by 4.30 pm.

– Carry their Najwa covers, their own water bottle, light snacks and shoe bag.

– Wear a mask (mandatory)

Parents should collect students from tokra gali gate after Ziyarat by 7.45 pm

[Grade 1-9] On-site school

Dear Parents,

As per the new regulations given by the government of Maharashtra, physical school shall restart from Monday 24th January 2022.

Please note :

1. As per the government norms – we will resume school for grades 1-9.

2. Timings – 9.00 am – 1.05 pm (Lunch will not be provided)

3. Tahfeez morning batch will be on-site (in school) at its regular time, 7.30 am.

4. Time table will remain the same (as per previously on-site schedule)

5. Parents kindly ensure that students carry their water bottles and mask.

6. Grade 4,5,6 will resume school from 27th January 2022, Thursday.

Important Notice

Dear Parents,

We have observed that a few students have suffered from cold, cough, and fever for the past few days. If a student has any such symptoms, the school will call the parents and ask them to take them home.

We implore all parents to take this matter very seriously.

Also, if any student is sick for two days, s/he will be allowed to enter the school premises with a valid -ve antigen test. Parents will have to email the test results to their respective class teachers.

[Grade 8&9] Regarding Mobile phones

Dear Parents,

Students can carry mobile phones along with them to the school on the following conditions:

Mobile phones should be on airplane mode or switched off on the school premises all the time.
Students cannot use them during school hours or on the premises.
Mobile phones can only be used outside school premises.
Anyone found using the devices in class during school hours or on school premises will be confiscated.

[Grade 8&9] Back to School

Dear Parents,

We are glad to inform you that students of al-Samenah and al-Taseah will be able to attend physical school as per the government guidelines.

School start date 28/10/2021.

Timings along with the timetable will be sent soon.

Transport to & fro to be managed by parents as done previously.
Carry water bottles if required.
Fruits to be served in the fruit break.
Mobile phones are strictly not allowed on the school premises. If found, they will be confiscated immediately.
If the child is unwell, kindly don’t send them to school and apply for sick leave.

Students are requested to follow the Government Health Guidelines:

Thermal scanning at entry points.
Maintain Social Distancing in class.
Wearing a mask correctly at all times, adequately covering the nose and mouth.
Washing of both hands at regular intervals.
Avoid directly touching common surfaces.

Dear Parents,

Imtehaan Inayat Raqam and Tashreef are directly bestowed upon us by Syedna Mufaddal Saifuddin TUS. We regret to inform you that a handful of parents have collected Imtehaan Tashreef & Inayat Raqam yet, even after communicating regarding the collection timings and days via Class Representatives 4 days ago.

Tomorrow will be the last day for collection, and the remaining tashreef will be sent back to al-Jamea tus Saifiyah.

Also, every year we have been granted permission to do Ashara Niyaz Araz on behalf of all the students of Rawdat al-Quran al-Kareem, and that is an exceptional opportunity. We request the parents not to miss this opportunity and contribute to Ashara Niyaz Raqam latest by tomorrow.

[Grade 1-9] Football training camp

Dear Parents,

We are glad to announce our first Football basic Training camp for our students, and we are sure the students will be more excited than we are!

We will have two batches, and they are divided in the following manner:

Per batch limit – 12 students (on first come first basis)

Batch 1 (Juniors) –Grade 1 – Grade 4

Batch 1 timings: 4.00 pm -5.00 pm

Only for Batch 1 students : (Reading time with Ms Mariyah Bahrainwala will be adjusted for the students opting for football training)

Batch 2 (Seniors) – Grade 5 – Grade 9

Batch 2 timings: 5.00 pm – 6.00 pm

Fees (Batch 1 & 2) – Rs 3400/- for 24 sessions (Transport excluded. Transport fees will be communicated to the respective students who opt for it. )

Ground venue – Saifi high school – Pydhonie

*All the Government norms of social distancing and sanitisation will be followed thoroughly. Parents will have to fill a consent form which will be provided later. Only after parents signature on the consent form the training of the child will commence.

Paper Recycling

Dear Parents,

As responsible citizens, we always try our best to make a difference and become the change for our children. After a successful plastic recycling drive and an overwhelming response, Burhani Foundation and Rawdat al-Quran al-Kareem have collaborated in a Paper Recycling Initiative.

The collection day from school will be on the 15th of July 2021.

We would request our students, teachers and parents to start collecting waste paper, shredded paper, box files, thandu materials (Papers only) etc.

The details of the initiative have been attached with this mail for your reference.

To recycle as much as we can, we will arrange the pickup and collection of papers twice before 15th July.

World Environment Day

Dear Parents,

5th of June is celebrated as World Environment Day, and being responsible citizens of the world, we all should be doing our part for this planet where we live.

A group of volunteers from the Mumbai project collect plastics from Mumbai and recycle them (for details please find an attached image). The school will be collecting the plastics on the decided drop points on the 4th of June. We all know that the environment and all its living beings are affected severely because of one time used plastics. Therefore, we as responsible citizens should gather plastics not only from home but also from society and all neighbourhoods.

The school is aiming to collect 50kg of plastic. Each class can collect at least 5kg.

We urge our students and parents to participate and be a part of this initiative. Below are some directives provided by the Mumbai project; we request to please adhere to them:

1. All students/parents should collect and drop their plastics on Friday the 4th of June.

2. The plastics should be properly packed and sealed in a bag or box.
